Hi, I'm emily!

Hi, I'm Emily, a photographer with a passion for capturing life's beautifully candid moments. From weddings and senior portraits to family sessions and branding shoots, I specialize in creating images that are authentic, emotionally charged, and full of life.
After graduating from MTSU, I felt at a loss of what to do with my life. What career would be the end of my pride and the beginning of God's glory - Sports? Weddings? Ministry? Almost a year after working through the unknown of post- grad life, the Lord made it abundantly clear that I was to pause applying for jobs in sports and truly put my all into this photography business. He has provided and answered prayers I didn't even know I was praying. This is all for the glory of God and the good of others, and how lucky am I that he uses me to love people during their biggest moments in life?
With 6 years of experience working in sports, I developed a love for chaos, and it taught me to appreciate the power of a fleeting moment- the unfiltered emotion, the subtle connections, the beauty in the in between. While touchdowns, stolen bases, and crazy dunks are worth capturing, so is the nerves of a pitcher before closing a no hitter, the unbridled joy of winning after a losing streak, or the tear filled eyes of knowing this is your last time playing a sport you've loved your whole life.
Outside of this hobby turned passion, I thrive in spontaneity. I adore traveling- especially when it's planned in a stressfully short amount of time. I am a big people person. I love serving in the student ministry at church and find joy in simply sitting in silence with people I care for deeply.
Whether I'm guiding you through a portrait session or blending into the background to document the spontaneous, unscripted moments, my goal is always the same: to tell your story with heart and honesty. Let’s create something that feels like you- real, raw, and undeniably captivating.
